Tiger's a scary sight when his driver's working
Sun Jun 7, 2009
Not a sport huh? What...as opposed to Nascar? There have been many, many instances of major sports figures playing in pro-ams that have said hitting a little white ball that isn't moving with great consistency is the hardest thing they have ever attempted. Not a sport my ass!!!

No I don't believe it is a cruel or dumb remark. That vast majority of problems with these are self inflicted..whether through drug or alcohol abuse or some some problem. I think the soylent green remark is rather appropo.

ConsumerMan: Overdraft protection debate
Wed Mar 25, 2009
I agree that everyone should pay attention to their bank account. However, there is one little flaw in everyone's thinking here. Supposed you have $50.00 in your checking account. You go to a gas station a buy $35.00 worth of gas. Some stations automatically put a hold on TWICE THE PURCHASE.

I agree completely. The one and only way to stop this is to take away the profit motive for these thugs. Again, "PROHIBITION ON ALCOHOL HAD THE SAME EXACT OUTCOME". Very simple solution. Legalize all of the drugs. Tax it heavily.

I never thought I would read a piece written by someone who shares most of my beliefs. Very well written sir.
Venezuela's Chavez sends troops to rice firms
Sun Mar 1, 2009
Glad you're so happy there socialist. But let me ask you this. How many times in the last two hundred or so odd years has YOUR government or YOUR people been able to afford to rush in to help countries where disaster has struck...I.E. earthquakes, tidal waves, hurricanes and the like. I'll bet none.
